A cloisonné-enamel vase Meiji era (late 19th century) Of baluster form with a slightly splayed foot, worked in silver wire and polychrome enamels on a sky blue ground with a flock of birds fleeing from a kestrel hidden in the branches of maple tree above a cluster of flowering chrysanthemums, floral lappets encircling the rim and foot, silvered metal mounts 14 5/8in (37cm) high Lot to be sold without reserve.
