Fine Group of Civil War CDV's of the Buell Family. Five images including General Don Carlos Buell, Colonel George Buell and wife Arlene, Julius Buell and John Buell who was attached to the 5th Michigan and went to the front immediately serving in the war of the Potomac. He was shot from his horse during a cavalry Charge at the Battle of Gettysburg, July 3, 1863. (Wm. Pailthrop of Mt. Morris and Israel Hill of Davidson witnessed his fall and death). Along with a printed copy of the Buell family chronology, copyright USGenWeb Archives. Average size 4"h.
