Description
Serial number 636-602 which dates the clock to 1968. The rectangular figured walnut case fitted with brass banding, the upper part with a swan's neck cresting centering a shell, the case with glazed door exposing three brass-clad weights, a pendulum, and nine chromed steel tubes, playing Westminster, Canterbury and Whittington chimes, the three-train movement with an etched brass clock dial, and center subsidiary dial, a strike/silent and a tune indicator, the silvered chapter ring with large Arabic numerals,
centering scroll cut hands, all beneath an arch with painted moon phases and the days of the week, with winding crank.
Dimensions: 22" x 13" 86" tall.
Condition
Overall very good condition, the threaded end of pendulum rod that holds the bob has lost length, also the threads that hold the hammers are mostly snapped. We cannot guarantee functionality.
