With matting, overall 20" x 16" (the largest item in the group) ** McLean's Monthly Sheet of Caricatures, No 60, featuring slave held at gun-point, entitled "Free Labor" (13.75" H) ** An May 7, 1832 issue of The Christian Advocate with some slavery related content ** An April 23, 1821 issue of The British Press, with announcement of a slave auction in Richmond, VA. ** 19th c. engraved of slave-driver with whip, 4to sheet ** Hand-colored woodcut of slave being whipped ** Pamphlet "The Extinction of the Slave-Trade, and the Civilization of Africa," London, 1840, 8vo, disbound. ** Papers Relating to the Slave Trade.
