AMERICAN / ENGLISH MINIATURE FURNITURE, LOT OF TWO, comprising an American walnut spindle-back cane-bottom settee with scrolling arms, and an English mahogany open washstand with original brass pull on the lower faux drawer. Each retains an old surface. Circa 1880 and 1820. 8 1/4" HOA, 13" L; and 8 1/4" H, 4 3/8" SQ.

Provenance:

From the Curtis Webster Collection, Princeton, NJ, descended in the McGraw-Hill Family.

Condition

Settee excellent, washstand top with a small glued break to one front corner, minor loss to a rear corner, and an age crack at one side.
