AMERICAN / ENGLISH MAHOGANY MINIATURE FURNITURE, LOT OF TWO, doll-sized, comprising a tilt-top candlestand with shaped top, turned pedestal, and tripod base, and an open washstand with dovetailed gallery and single dovetailed drawer. Each retains an old surface. 19th century. Candlestand: 13 5/8" H down, 19 5/8" up, 11 1/4" x 8 1/4" top. Washstand: 13 1/4" HOA, 13" x 7 1/2".

Provenance:

From the Curtis Webster Collection, Princeton, NJ, descended in the McGraw-Hill Family.

Condition

Very good overall condition, candlestand with old glued repair to lower pedestal, washstand with glued repair to one back leg and drawer face.
