1906 D.H. Baldwin and Co. Letter confirming an order of Mary Hanna's + 1895 Letter Between Henry Hanna and William Worthington. Also included is a letter from Crump Brothers Leaf Tobacco Co. from 1900.
Overall good condition. Some toning and creases.
William Worthington (1847-1922) was Judge of the Superior Court of Cincinnati from 1882-1884. He was a Director and general counsel for the Little Miami Railroad Company and the Cincinnati Art Museum. He was also associated with the Cincinnati Music Hall Association, Spring Grove Cemetery, the Shillito Realty Company, and the University of Cincinnati.
Henry Hanna (1812-1905) was a notable Cincinnati industrialist, philanthropist, and financier. He owned many of the most valuable business blocks in the city, was president of the Little Miami Railroad Company and Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company, and funded construction of The University of Cincinnati’s Hanna Hall.
Daughter of the Cincinnati industrialist and philanthropist, Henry Hanna, Mary was an art collector, patron and philanthropist. Hanna gifted and left a significant portion of her art collection to the Cincinnati Art Museum and aided in the financing of the Hanna Wing.
