An incredible grouping comprised of a handwritten parchment envelope by historical jeweler and glassmaker Rene Lalique, two baroque pearls, and one pearl cabochon. Baroque pearls began appearing in Rene Lalique's jewelry around 1897. Pearls were found tucked neatly away inside the handwritten parchment envelope and were handpicked by Rene Lalique himself. Beautiful one-hundred-year-old fountain pen script note reads, 3 perles baroques 15 carats 25 a OM, SY; blue ball point text reads "5, grosses blanks. Envelope: 10.25"L x 8.25"W; approximate total pearl weight: 6.1g.
