Handwritten envelope by historical art nouveau jeweler and glass artisan Rene Lalique containing one string of sample seed pearls, baroque pearl with hook, and twenty-five loose seed pearls. Pearl string has thirty-five pearls. Handwritten notes range from blue ball point pen, pencil, to 100 year old fountain pen script. The pearls enclosed were hand-picked by Rene Lalique himself. Discernable text reads, Tres petit centre collier perles, Lul 10; 38 1.08 0.04 8+49. Envelope measures 8.75"L x 7.25"W; approximate pearl weight: 5.7g.
