A lot of items from the collection of the American painter Loren MacIver. Includes: Staying on Alone: Letters of Alice B. Toklas, an association copy from the collection of the American painter Loren MacIver who is mentioned on page 293, hardcover, published in 1973, in the original dust jacket, inscribed by an unknown hand to Loren MacIver on the fly leaf; a typed letter from on Museum of Modern Art letterhead from the director, Alfred Barr, to Loren MacIver, thanking her for lending a piece to the famous show Fantastic Art, Dada and Surrealism, dated 1937, signed in ink by Barr, and housed in its original envelope; a mailed letter with a drawing from MacIver to Howard Frisch, dated 1988; and a postcard sent to MacIver from Rome that appears to be signed by Ynes. An interesting group!
Condition
