Louis XVI style bronze and marble mantel clock, 19th c., France, gilt bronze, white Carrera marble, the round white enameled clock face set with black Arabic numbers, under hinged glazed bezel, surmounted by a figure of Artemis holding her bow and a resting putti above a floral garland, the whole raised on two sphinx on tiered pedestals flanking the star-form pendulum, above an ormolu mounted marble plinth decorated with a relief frieze centered between two masks, unmarked, 18"h x 12"w x 5"d
