Description
Southeastern Italy, Ca 4th century BCE. Two pottery blackware pouring vessels uncovered in a Daunian tomb in 1944 by Byron Farwell, and later (1953) published in a book on his collection. First, an olpe in dark brown slip and small foot. Next, small single-handled mug of bulbous form, also slipped deep brown. 4-1/4"H and 3"H respectively.
