Potted in olive shape vase, large thick and tall, globular heavy on mid ovoid body, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in yellow base colour which contrast against blue colour, depicted of abundant ripe pomegranate fruit tree with fresh green foliage. Pomegranate is known as the fruit of happiness for its red colour and is a symbol of plentiful offspring for its many seeds. Because the pomegranate is full of juicy seeds, it symbolizes fertility in feng shui, and it is used as a feng shui fertility cure. Pomegranate also symbolizes happiness in the family, as well as good luck for one's descendants. The Daoist attribute to it the same power as the peach of immortality. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed with blue ring lines. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
