An unsigned late 18th century Dutch inlaid mahogany contra barometer
The scales marked A.R.
Surmounted by a shaped carved cresting over open tubes, their cisterns protected by an inlaid box base, the smaller register plate engraved with English inches, ten predictions and 20-0-16 scale, the longer with 0-96 scale and six predictions, the alcohol thermometer to the left with shaped bulb, 21cm wide x 10cm deep x 123cm high, (8in wide x 3 1/2in deep x 48in high)
