Inscription: Lower right signed: "Th. Grätz".
Date: c. 1914
Description: Satirical depiction of an exuberantly joking man with a cigar and a champagne glass in front of a group of guests wearing top hats at a reception. At the right edge of the picture is Kaiser Wilhelm II of Prussia in lost profile, his stern expression expressing displeasure at the debauchery and licentiousness of his counterpart.
