Title: OLD VINTAGE 13 STAR CIRCLE BETSY ROSS US AMERICAN FLAG w FOLKY HANDMADE CANTON

Additional Information: Old circa 1920s United States "Betsy Ross" pattern flag with folky handmade 13 star circle in canton. (Possibly made for the American Sesquicentennial.) Cotton fabric. Hand cut, treadle machine sewn stars applied onto a blue canton. The canton on this flag appears to have been applied with hand stitches to an earlier flag with has had the original canton removed. Stripes are pieced and machine sewn. Exterior flag dimensions are about 45" x 64-1/2". Flag appears to be made of cotton, with canvas hoist and brass grommets.
Condition: light soiling, staining, occasional small holes and separations.
