Description
Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 800 BCE. A cast-bronze mace head of cylindrical form with thick rims on each end. The dense body is lined with 4 columns of protruding spikes to maximize damage, and the interior areas between the columns are decorated with raised zigzags. Size: 3.4" L x 1.3" W x 1.375" H (8.6 cm x 3.3 cm x 3.5 cm)
