Description
With inlaid coin struck by bullet. The relief carved narrative states: "This cent- was struck by a rebel bullet while in the pocket of a union soldier at the battle of Antietam. From D.G. Nyman to George H. Boggs Omaha, Neb. centennial year 1876 this cane was cut from south mountain battlefield near where General Reno fell."
