The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Safety Patrol "yellow shirts" have been an integral part of the lore of the Brickyard for decades. But the Safety Patrol actually began wearing blue shirts when founded after the war. This blue Safety Patrol shirt is from the Estate of Tom Rosenberger, who spent over 20 years as part of the Safety Patrol. Also included is a vintage photograph of Rosenberger in his safety patrolman uniform. The lot also includes an original letter from the Speedway, signed by Tony Hulman and Joe Quinn, delivered with complementary tickets after Tom had retired from the Safety Patrol.REF#JDR7005
