Carbon typescript on rectos only. 28x21 cm (11x8¼"), half cloth & marbled boards binder with string tie.Thesis presented to the Faculty of the Graduate School of The University of Texas in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Master of Arts by Maurine T. Wilson, Austin, Texas, May, 1932. This dissertation was devoted to the biography of Philip Nolan (1771-1801) mustang trader and filibuster in Natchez, on the Mississippi River, and the Spanish Province of Tejas (aka Texas). In 1988 Maurine T. Wilson, with Jack Jackson, wrote the book "Philip Nolan and Texas Expeditions to the Unknown Land, 1791-1801." Two copies of the thesis are listed in OCLC, at Stephen F. Austin State University and the University of Texas at Austin. A microfilm version is located at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
