Cover (with seal), 8 leaves (Spanish), and 1 leaf (in English, signed and with seal), plus 1 blank leaf at end. ********** An early copy of a Spanish land title to George and William Scott, who were early settlers in Texas. The original document was done in 1831. The document is signed at the end by George Washington Smyth, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and a Democrat member of Congress. Also signed by Elijah Sterling Clack Robertson who was postmaster for the Republic of Texas, colonel in the Texas Militia, and one of the signers of the Texas Order of Secession in 1861.

Condition

Creased as folded, cover leaf toned/soiled and with closed tearing along one crease, else Good overall.
