Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Rose Flower Porcelain Lidded Jar. Potted with a large cylinder vessel, jar shape, having thick and tall potted body, sturdily potted in slight ovoid belly, heavy on shoulder gently tapered on short neck, toward opening mouth prominent, with reverse bowl dome lid finial bud, and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in turquoise base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of abundant flowers bloom in vivid tones color. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
