Description
Native American / First Nations, Northwest Coast United States, Alaska or Canada, Inuit people, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A collection of 4 carved bird sculptures made from bone, antler, and walrus tusk ivory. The smallest has 4 tiny ivory birds perched on an antler panel, one is in flight and mounted on a peg. The second carving of a goose is on a bone wedge base, and not attached. The large bird in flight is carved from an antler and has a removable peg that inserts into the bone base. Lastly, and the most charming of the group, is an antler mother bird with babies in a nest made from fibers of whale baleen. Size of bird & nest: 2.5" W x 4.5" H (6.4 cm x 11.4 cm)

Condition
Natural pitting and ossification to the bones. Missing a few of the tiny birds on the tiny panel. None are signed. Overall good condition and really cute!
