Lot of Two Hamilton, Marion County Alabama, James C. (Jim) Humphries (1866GA-1935) One Gallon Fluid Jugs. 1- is a one gallon Fluid jug with a stellar modified lime alkaline glaze that is very striking in eye appeal. Classic James (Jim) Humphries Handle and is based off a found signed entire jug from the waster kiln site next to the kiln. The Humphries handle connects to the mouth instead of the shoulder like seen on Jimmy Rye pots. Very good condition for age and use. One chip in lip on backside of jug and minor glaze flakes on the lip. These are normal from again age and use, no cracks or repairs. Standing 10" Tall 2- One gallon fluid jug with a lime glaze and classic Rye handle and form. This jug is a quality example and has minor glaze flake on lip and one minor on edge of the handle. No cracks or repairs. Both are fresh to the market examples from an Alabama collection. Standing 10 1/4" Tall
