Description
Stunning 1850s Edgefield South Carolina BF Landrum Shop Quart Jug, slave made. Highly significant example due to size and condition. This one is fully loaded with all the options with a double collared mouth and a rich earthy olivine and light brownish alkaline glaze. Also has an X scratched on the mid body. The condition is collector grade with no chips, cracks or repairs and is fresh from a Georgia collection. These are truly rare birds and do not surface privately or at auction. Note this is only the second one I have seen in gem mint condition. Simply find another one. Standing 7 1/4" Tall
