Description
This stunning piece was likely made around the 1850s in Central Europe and features a deep blue and white porcelain body with hand painted gold accents and bronze applications, including a very detailed bird finial. The cream color porcelain enamel dial with its hand painted Roman numerals and markers is in very good condition; the body shows crackling according to age but there are no chips, cracks, or visible repairs. The clock winds up, works, and chimes (the picture of the inside doesn't have the pendulum which was removed for transport and comes with the clock along with the keys). A very rare and decorative piece measuring approx. 16 1/2" high x 9" wide x 6 1/2" deep.
