A short autograph letter signed in the third person by Charles Dickens. 1p, measuring 4.25" x 5" (sight), "Devonshire Terrace", London, dated November 20, 1849. The letter is matted and framed along with two engravings of Dickens (a younger portrait and an older one) to the overall size of 18.5" x 10.5". The letter has uneven toning and soiling throughout. Flattened mail folds. Boldly signed.

Signed in the third person as "Mr. Charles Dickens" and addressed to Mr. Power. Reading in full: "Mr. Charles Dickens presents his compliments to Mr. Power, and begs to thank Mr. Power, very earnestly, for his gratifying and welcome letter."
