Condition
Visual: Soft stretcher bar creases along each side, as well as grime, varnish discoloration, and craquelure throughout, all commensurate with age. A 1" H x 0.25" W area of wear to the pigment near the upper edge, at left. A 2.25" vertical scratch on the lower portion of the seated figure's dress, at center. A quarter-sized area of raised pigment, attendant with a previous repair, below the figure's right hand. Frame abrasion along each of the extreme edges with attendant areas of scattered and small pigment losses.
Blacklight: Areas of touch-up throughout, the largest measuring 7.5" H x 1.5" W in the dark background of the upper right quadrant, with a related patch, verso.
Frame: 58" H x 49" W x 3" D Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request.
