Rare - The Belle Studio at 627 Olive Street was operated by two photographers, Charles Schneidt and Albert Dippel. They were partners in the studio from 1883 to 1887. Schneidt was born in Germany in 1853 and died in St. Louis in 1931. Dippel was born in Germany in 1855 and died in St. Louis in 1924. Both men were trained photographers and they were known for their high-quality portrait photography.
