An Irish silver footed salver, Dublin 1706 -1707

Circular form, with an engraved decoration of a coat of arms in a wreath of flowers with a bird, all on a pedestal base 5.3cm high, 19cm width, weight 270g

Restorations on the edge of the wing, at the attachment ( foot - salver ) and the base of the pedestal
Repolished
Slight deformation of the rim and base
Marks:
Two hallmarks under the bowl ( harp crowned & date letter S ) , no hallmark on the pedestal.
No goldsmith's hallmark.
Inscription 18=18 under the cup.

Deux poinçons sous la coupe ( lyre & lettre date : S)
