Vintage original 8' x 10″ black-and-white single-weight glossy silver gelatin print still photos. The photo of the Scarecrow has creases along the white margin and center top above his hat. The image of the Cowardly Lion has the original studio stamp and the blurb on the verso.

MGM produced this musical fantasy film at an estimated expense of $2,700,000 in 1939 depression era dollars but only earned the studio just over $3 million in return despite positive reviews. A small return in the day. The 1956 television revival, which would become an annual tradition, has made this film one of the most loved and remembered in history. Starring a 16-year-old Judy Garland and a brilliant supporting cast, the film is one of the most collected titles in the poster hobby.
