Chinese Famille Rose Large Porcelain Plaque, Man Riding Carp, Ca. 1900, H 21.5" W 12" | Depicting Taoist immortal Qin Gao 琴高: Having enjoyed a ride through the world of the river on the back of a carp, he enjoined his followers never to kill any fish. with painted calligraphic marks to the upper left quadrant. Presented in a teak wood frame, measuring H 24" X W 15". Circa 1900.
