maker WC, London 1843, of circular form, the hinged domed cover with a floriform finial above a broad shoulder engraved with trellis, acanthus and scrolls, the scroll-form handle with ivory insulators, opposed by a leaf-chased spout, raised on shell and scroll feet, engraved with a crest. 27.5cm long, 23.6 troy ounces

The hallmarks are clear on the underside. The handle is firm in the sockets. The lid opens and closes well. There is some minor age-related surface wear. It is in generally good condition, commensurate with age.
