A Japanese porcelain Imari pattern vase and cover probably late Meiji period of canted tapering ovoid form, the domed cover with eagle and rustic tree stump finial, the body and cover decorated in underglaze blue, overglaze iron red and gilt with flowering trees, birds and lotus shaped borders, and further decorated with further birds, flowers and rabbits, the neck with formalised flowers and fruit, the cover similarly decorated, 74.5cm high, 37cm diameter approximately Footnotes: Provenance Acquired from Horneman Antiques, London.
