A large ship builder's half hull model of the transitional steamer Corinth, C. Mitchell & Co., (Ship) Builders, Newcastle on Tyne, painted in black, brick red and white, titled and labeled "C. Mitchell', overall 15"h x 88"l x 4.75"d. Provenance: Ken Brown, Frank's Fisherman, San Francisco. Note: Corinth was launched in October 1880 and sank in January1886 in the Formosa Channel off Amoyon between Hiego and Singapore.
