Luftwaffe Pilot Observer’s Badge by Assmann with the firm’s ‘A’ device on the verso, in non-ferrous metal, two-piece construction with two half-round rivets intact. On the obverse, the leaf wreath's silvering is worn a bit, the burnishing to the impressive eagle still largely intact. The reverse bears the maker's name in full impressed upon the eagle, the catch and somewhat bent pin (as is often the case) correct for this badge. Construction remains completely solid and tight. Sold with original fitted case with gold lettering and operating push button catch, a bit worn. Offered within a reproduction case.
