Luftwaffe Pilot Badge by C.E. Juncker. Badge is of two-piece construction with eagle riveted to wreath with two round rivets, featuring a vertical round pin back with a round wire catch. Wreath made of silvered zinc and measures 43 mm. x 54 mm., with the eagle at 64 mm. wide. Much of the silvering is gone from the high surfaces of the wreath, which also shows minor surface wear. Badge is marked with their maker's stamp on the verso as 'C.E. JUNCKER BERLIN SW'. Text book example of a highly desired qualification badge. Very good.
