An exceptional, excessively rare and very personal collection of 19 original and unpublished photographs of Adolf Hitler, Eva Braun, and family and close friends during a visit to Hitler's Berghof and Obersalzburg in 1936. The photos, generally 3.5 x 2.5 in. and larger, originate from a grouping once the personal property of Eva Braun's close friend, Marianne Schonmann (1899-1981). There are some exceptional images, including six with Hitler (one showing him on the balcony at the Berghof, and another showing Hitler with Eva and Gretl Braun with others in a forest setting), Eva Braun, Schonmann, Albert Speer, Franz Xaver Schwarz, Karl Brandt, Heinrich Hoffmann, Wilhelm Bruckner, as identified by our consignor.
