Lot also includes a frankly confusing photo album from WWII, horizontal 4to size with embossed U.S. Marine Corps symbol on front board, string bound with 36 silver gelatin photographs including three captured German military9.3 x 7” photos showing Tiger tank, Pantzer tanks, 88mm field artillery, and naval ships under torpedo attach; plus U.S. Army photos of paratroopers, many photos from Hawaii, including burial detail at the Punchbowl, both army and navy personnel, biplane trainer and DC 3 planes as well as several photographs of Vietnam era U.S. soldiers. The 75 th Infantry Division landed in France on Dec. 13, 1944 and were soon involved in combat, including the Ardennes forest, and many other major campaignes with 94 days of combat and over 4000 casualties.
