**Originally Listed At $350**

Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A set of 2 hand-built pottery figures of varying sizes. The first figure is of petite size, is covered in red pigment, and features both breasts and a phallus along with cicatrices on outstretched arms. The larger figure carries a large club or horn atop one shoulder and displays red stripes across the body as well as a centrally-parted coiffure. Size of largest: 1.25" L x 3.2" W x 4.4" H (3.2 cm x 8.1 cm x 11.2 cm)

Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010

Condition

Each figure with light earthen deposits, minor fading to pigment, and scattered nicks and abrasions, otherwise intact and very good. Nice preservation to figural forms.
