Description
A Maya/Totonac Ceremonial Bowl Gulf Coast, Mexico, Late-Classic, c. 600-900 AD Earthenware a buff color, the exterior covered with an intricate scene in low relief, possibly mold-made with details added by hand. Said to depict the ancient coffee ceremony. In very good condition, as found, cracks repaired with restoration over break lines.
