A George V silver sugar caster, of typical, panelled octagonal form with ribbed border to base and scrolled piercing to cover. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1915. Height 19cm, weight 4.7ozt (148.8g).

• Item is in good condition, showing minor but general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
• Recesses to decoration show some dark tarnishing marks.
• Piercing to top of one panel to cover shows a small, compressed bash.
• Cover is quite stiff to remove and fit back into central body, and needs to be wiggled in.
• There is some sticker residue to rim of cover fitting, that is concealed within body when fit in.
• Hallmarks to body are clear and legible, hallmarks to cover are slightly rubbed.
