**First Time At Auction**
Native American, North America, Southwestern United States, New Mexico, Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi), Tularosa, ca. 900 to 1450 CE. A squat, spherical pottery jar formed via the Puebloan coil-and-scrape technique. The round-bottomed vessel bears a squat neck as well as dense, black-painted linear and geometric motifs across the broad midsection. Size: 3.58" Diameter x 3.65" H (9.1 cm x 9.3 cm)

Condition
Chips to rim as shown, with small area of repair bearing light adhesive residue. Fading to pigment, and areas of fire-darkening to surfaces, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to decorative motifs. Previous inventory label beneath base.
