Description
A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMEL SERVING SPOON, GREGORIY SBITNEV, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1908-1917. The teardrop shaped bowl with an outer border of turquoise beads; the inner portion enameled with a floral pattern in various shades on a stippled ground. The stem terminating in a flat, flared enameled end with a floral pattern on a purple ground. Hallmarked Moscow circa 1908-1917, maker's mark GS, and 84 silver standard. Length 8.25 inches (21 cm).
