Description
Hans H. Hosenthien (1915-1996) German-born rocket scientist. Hosenthien was one of the original members of von BraunĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s rocket team at the Peenemunde rocket research station in Germany during WW II and was brought with von Braun to the United States after the war. He was involved with the Redstone, Juno, Pershing and Saturn rocket programs as section chief, analog computation, of the guidance and control branch. Later, he was the head of NASAĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s flight dynamics division which was instrumental in the Apollo/ Saturn program. Four, unsigned, pages of manuscript notes, technical sketches and schematics written by Hosenthien and part of his files. This artifact is sold with documentation from noted space collector Ken Havekotte.
