American (Cincinnati), 19th century. Two Kinsey ladles, one with an upturned fiddle handle and an oval bowl, struck E&D Kinsey, the other with a downturned fiddle handle with pointed fins and an oval bowl, struck with an eagle and E. Kinsey; largest lg. 14 in., silver wt. 11.87ozt (369.5g).
Edward and David Kinsey, brothers, had a silverware business and made the bulk of hollowware and flatware of Cincinnati, Ohio of their time. Â
