Description
This framed photograph beautifully displays the shark-mouthed P-40 Warhawks of the American Volunteer Group "Flying Tigers."
It was hand-signed in person by three members of the celebrated fighter group - Bob Layher, "Tex" Hill, and Joe Rosbert.
It is matted behind glass in a metal frame and is ready to hang. The metal plate is engraved with the group's illustrious name.
This comes with a COA (certificate of authenticity) and a story paper.

14 1/4" x 11 1/4".
Reserve officers and enlisted men comprising the American Volunteer Group,better and more dashingly known as the Flying Tigers, bolstered thefaltering Chinese Air Force against the dreaded Japanese military machine.Between mid-December 1941 and mid-July 1942, these courageous pilots flewnumerous missions and destroyed at least 286 Japanese aircraft.

Condition
The photo and the plaque appear to be in excellent condition and there is no damage to the frame other than a few light scratches. It has been kept in a protective box and not displayed.
