Description
A pair of Ban Chiang ceramic vessels, c. 500 - 300 BC, each hand built, the first a tall pedestal bowl, the base incised with linear decoration. H: 8 1/8 in (20.5 cm). The second vessel is a small rounded bottom corded-ware jar, the mouth widely flared. H: 3 ½ in (8.9 cm); W: 4 ¾ in (12.1 cm). Both intact, the jar with heavy earthen deposits. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
