A George IV silver fiddle pattern fish serving tongs by William Eley II, London 1826, the pierced blades with threaded borders, engraved with two crests, 29.5cm (11 1/2in) long, 259g (8.3 oz) The crest of GIST of Wormington Grange, Stanton, Glos., accompanied by a further crest, possibly an informal assumption for Westenra of the Netherlands, associated with the 17th July 1824 marriage of Samuel Gist Gist and Marianne Westenra, daughter of Warner, 2nd Baron Rossmore in the peerage of Ireland.
