This Lot contains three volumes with and about works of Dutch photographer duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, titled ‘Pretty Much Everything’. Attached is a poster with original silk screen, which is wrapped over the slipcase. Also part of this edition is a folder with 2 signed photo prints showing ‘Alexander McQueen - V Magazine, 2004’ and Kate Moss ‘Kate Groom - V Magazine in 2005’ which was published in a total edition of 100 copies. The prints are numbered ‘89/100’.
The three volumes are still packed in original wrapper and are therefore in very good condition. The two photo prints in the portfolio are each signed in pencil, verso labeled and marked with the edition number ‘89/100’. The sheets are lightly soiled at the margins, otherwise overall in very good condition. The sheets measure 34.5 x 45 cm. The overall dimensions are 47 x 35.5 cm (portfolio); 33 x 32 x 12 cm (3 volumes).
Inez van Lamsweerde (b. 1963) & Vinoodh Matadin (b. 1961)
The Dutch photographer duo is known primarily for its work for fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, as well as various advertising campaigns. Matadin studied fashion design, his partner Ines van Lamsweerde fine art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. As a result they combine both areas of expertise in their works and further play with the boundaries of reality and manipulation.
